Trash TV

Welcome to the world of Trash TV. Cast away into a recycling center, you play an outdated tube television animated to life with a singular goal – find your remote control and become fully functional again. Navigate through the perilous pathways of the recycling factory, avoid machines set out to flatten and pulverize you into scrap parts, and pick up various weapons of wicked destruction to solve puzzles through explosive solutions and to use against haywire machines. A finalist of Intel’s Level Up 2011 game development contest, Trash TV’s addicting action and clever puzzle design is coupled with a haunting background brilliantly set by the chilling ambient tunes. Thematic visuals with a “fuzzy” screen style and static transitions completes the retro video charm. Each of the six different locations will have different puzzles to decipher and obstacles to maneuver through, with the solutions usually involving one of eight lethal weapons. From double uzis that blast through crates, C4 explosives to trigger floor panels, to the rocket launcher that can blast your TV character across the screen through “rocket jumping” techniques, the tricky puzzles in Trash TV will often require a careful yet explosive solution. Key Features Weapon Solutions: Take control of eight powerful weapons ranging from pistols, paired Uzi machineguns, shotguns, and rocket launchers to solve clever puzzles. Oh, and of course – blow $#!% up. Six Locations to Explore: Traverse six different areas, each with their own devious traps, obstacles and enemies. Explosive Puzzle Solving: Use your arsenal of weaponry in a myriad of ways to get through tough obstacles, devious traps, and malfunctioning machines. Thematic Visuals: Stylized visuals to match the tube television main character, bars n' tone screens, and static noise transitions. Ambient Soundtrack: A chilling ambient soundscape adds to the "machine graveyard" background of the recycling factory levels.

The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians

Introduction : The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians is an RPG Dungeon Crawler game, in First Person View, inspired by classics like Dungeon Master™ and Might & Magic®, but featuring a modern tactical combat based on the triptych “tank/damage dealer/healer” mechanism coupled with the threat & aggro system and an active pause. Story : You’re a newly employed guard of a prison deep inside a dungeon. The night of your arrival, strange things happen and when you wake up in the morning, all prisoners have escaped amidst chaos. The warden wisely decides to leave the dungeon as quickly as possible, while tasking you to run after the escaping prisoners. You then assemble your team and venture into the mysterious dungeon. A Call For Adventure : Enter a big, massive dungeon, full of danger, mystery and secrets. Fight your way through hordes of enemies and powerful creatures. Explore intricate corridors, underground palaces, mines fallen into oblivion and evil crypts. Solve puzzles, avoid deadly traps, uncover hidden passages, and keep your bearing through mazes & hallways. Character Building : You’ll take command of a party of 4 guardians. Each guardian comes with a set of spells & abilities, with new ones appearing over the course of the adventure. For each new level reached, the guardians get a point to use in their talent trees, allowing them to reinforce their abilities or gain new powers. There are 4 classes to choose from: the warrior, the healer, the mage & the rogue. Each class has 3 specializations represented by a talent tree, and each specialization comes with its own set of abilities. So you have 12 base build-ups. In addition, your guardians can choose freely to spend their talent points in any of the 3 specializations of their class, allowing for even more varied set-ups. The dungeon is filled with loot: epic armors, legendary weapons and mystical, magical items. Often when you kill a group of enemies, they’ll drop a random piece of equipment that one of your guardians can use, raising more and more of their powers. Evolved Combat System : The combat is focused on the triptych “tank/damage dealer/healer” mechanism, coupled with an exciting threat mechanism: your healer’s spells directly threaten all the enemies nearby, and thus your tank must use his abilities to attract their wrath and protect the healer. The tank must then be able to mitigate a lot of the enemy damage using his defensive skills. Your last 2 guardians will be the damage dealers, trying to kill the enemies as fast as possible, while they’re busy with the tank. All guardians get a lot of abilities and not only will using the right one at the right moment be essential to your party’s survival, but also combining different abilities in sequence to maximize their efficiency will be required to vanquish your strongest foes. It sounds like a lot, but fortunately the game comes with an active pause: you can pause the game whenever you feel like it, check everything, queue the next abilities for your guardians, and then resume the game. You don’t like tanks, or you don’t like pausing the game? No problem, just lower the game difficulty, and you’ll be able to play without a real tank or pausing. You can precisely tune the difficulty at any time during your exploration. Unlike old-school FPV Dungeon Crawlers, you don’t have to strafe-turn-strafe-turn all the time in Dungeon Guardians. Your tank comes with serious defensive skills (armor, dodge & parry) that let him handle most of the enemy attacks, as long as the healer backs him up. So most fights are done while standing your ground. However, occasionally your whole party will have to dodge some extremely powerful enemy attacks, usually by walking back, so you’ll still need some moving reflexes and awareness of your surroundings during the fights. Built-in Map editor & Modding : The game comes with a full featured map editor, letting you create your own dungeons. The basics are very simple, but a bit of learning will be required to handle the more advanced puzzle mechanisms. Additionally, with the Modding SDK, you’ll be able to fine-tune the existing enemies, classes, specializations, abilities, talents, gear, and enchantments, and with a bit of dedication you should be able to add your own, and even add sound FX or music. Game Features : 4-character Party Grid-based movement : your party moves 1 square at the time, and turns by a quarter First person view 4 classes, 12 specializations 5 playable races : human, dwarf, elf, dark elf, halfling Active pause (ie: you can pause the game and still queue commands for your party members), and numerous optional auto-pauses 25-50 hours of gameplay, depending on your own skills and the difficulty settings 20 bosses, each with an unique strategy 100 kinds of creatures (including variations) Puzzles (the few ones required to finish the game are easy to solve) A lot of tactical combat Built-in Map Editor & Modding support

Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power

Trine is a mystical artifact that at some point in the past chose three mighty heroes to make sure that the land would be safe and the balance would be restored in time. Brave Knight Pontius, agile Thief Zoya and Amadeus the Wizard are called again to find out the source of the disturbance. After the events of the second game, all three heroes had their time to rest, but now, after they answered a new call, the prisoner of the Artifacts, Sarek, has broken out and is planning to corrupt the world with his magic. Studio Frozenbyte continued the story of the games while adding new mechanics. They expanded the game camera, and now players can experience bright and detailed backgrounds of the game and even move with the camera behind their back because Trine 3 is a full 3D game. The game studio had to cut the game short, ending the game on a cliffhanger, because the full scope of the project went outside of their budget, and it was the only way for them to finish the game. The rich soundtrack helps to add the atmosphere to the world of magic and whimsy.

ShipLord

ShipLord as an indie space shoot-em-up survival game developed by Just1337 Studio. There is not much plot present in the game, apart from several dialogue lines on several levels, that are not connected with each other. ###Gameplay ShipLord resembles a typical bullet hell shoot-em-up game. The players fly on their ship on the screen from left to right, avoiding fire from the enemy vessels that go in similar patterns, and firing back as much as they can. ShipLord tries to expand upon this concept, as there is a bit of player customization present in the game. The players have access to several space vessels and over 100 upgrades for them, such as decreased shield cooldown, increased shield duration, force field improvements, reduced energy collection time. The players can use three special abilities to get them out of trouble: a shield that lasts a little while and saves you from the enemy fire; an energy tractor, that drains energy from the opposing force ships; a force field that merely destroys enemy ships and deflects any projectiles fired at you. To unlock a boss level, the players have to complete four asteroid levels. Such levels differ in their environment, enemy types, and difficulty. There are fifteen levels total in the game. The game also tracks the player's performance with its built-in medal system. The better you play - the more you get.

Demented

Waking up as Bennet Helms you find yourself in a unknown place, however you do see your family which questions you deeply. You remember almost nothing but you see that something is wrong with this place, and given a choice to either just run or find your family. Survive, look for clues and items, hide and try to uncover the mysterious truth of the Visual Corporation.Key features:SanitySanity controls you. It will decide many things, and you can even use it to your advantage. But what is it actually? The main character is Bennet Helms has a brain tumor on the cerebral part of the brain (The part which controls communication, feelings, sense of reality, etc.). The tumor however can be contained with constant taking pills. Now, a few effects of the Sanity are: Makes the player hallucinate things. Spawns critters ("They can, and they will hurt you", the lower the sanity the more critters will come to hunt you) Decreased vision field. (Depends on the %(percentage) of the players sanity) Lowers your mental condition (Highlighting of things will be drastically decreased) 45% Critters starts start spawning 25% - Walk/Sprint slower 15% - Disabling the ability to sprint 10% - Black/White picture 5% - "C-Condition" - You will be very fast, you will ignore pain of the critters (This means you won't be effected if a critter pushes you, for example but you will receive damage), ability to see far objects, medication will be highlighted. *By hurting yourself you can go down to 15% of your HP (hitpoints). Every self-injury gives the sanity bar 20% sanity.WCDTo simplify WCD is the "brain" of the Demented world. However it depends entirely on the players Health and Sanity (We will get to that in a moment). Now what does WCD do? It: Changes the world (A wall was there buddy? Well now it isn't.) Changes the perception of many things Spawns Critters (Critters are the "monsters") Adds "corruption" to the world Plays trick with your mind System Shutdown (SS) - Changes the power in the facility. And otherRadiationRadiation is also a strong part of the game, as it can be rewarding but can be quite opposite as well. Also it can stop the decaying of Sanity but as the Radiation is higher it will hurt you too! Since it is a big part we cannot reveal all of the effects of the radiation. Some effects of Radiation are: Slows, or stops sanity from decaying. Depends on the percentage of the radiation. Even with little radiation you lose bits of health. It depends on the percentage of the radiation. 40+ REMs - Occasionally image blurring, and noises in head. 85+REMs - Walk/Sprint a lot slower, bad reflexes, decreased hearing.Future DevelopmentMake the WCD a heavy impact on the game, by changing, adding or removing whole parts of the map. Add more effects to the Sanity [For instance: heavy blurring, flashbacks of past, etc.] Add more effects to the Health[For instance: Add a bleed feature, when low on hp, to fall down sometimes] Improve the A.I - I have a great idea for you and am developing it as we speak! It'll be a lot of fun [By fun I mean in your most immediate death] Implementing Physic Engine [Ability to drag objects, boxes etc.] Optimize and polish textures, models and UI More intractable objects and voice overs for characters A lot more to come!

CaesarIA

CaesarIA is inspired by an old-school economic strategy game, Caesar III which is a masterpiece among the games of this genre in our opinion. There are different economic strategy games and they can be broken down to subtypes but from our viewpoint Caesar encompasses planning, constructing, diplomacy and military campaigns. Economy and Trade Miniature model of an economy leaves the ruler no room for mistakes, under his leadership there are extractive industry (mines, sawmills, outcrop mines and farms) and production (factories, armories, wineries and brandy kitchens). And if some resource is scarce or not available, then trade with the neighbors can be a solution for the difficult situation. Mini-economy is complicated and takes into account a variety of facts: taxes, import/export, population of the town, healthcare, unemployment. In order to stay in the black it is necessary to develop houses with high income level but that can lead to a rise in unemployment which consequently results in big problems such as an embezzlement of municipal purse. Construction Construction is defined by the needs of the town, healthcare, procurement, buildings security provision. The main idea of construction is bringing workers to the area, there actors entertain the public, engineer provides service for shabby houses, vigils fight criminals. Moreover, city folk prefer to occupy quiet picturesque location such as gardens farther from dirty barns and noisy barracks. Diplomacy The emperor will not leave the town alone, Caesar himself will demand goods for his personal use, sometimes in huge amounts and with bad timing. If the player has enough nerve he/she can just turn a blind eye to Caesar which unfortunately results in game over. Therefore, it is important to stay friends with Caesar and send him presents such as modest donations or exotic animals. Towns in the neighborhood will also take part in common trade network of the Empire and compete in the deals with the town. Religion Romans were superstitions people and created the whole hierarchy of gods. 5 gods are in the game: - Earth goddess, Ceres, when worshiped in the right way doubles the yield capacity. - Restive Neptune can help the merchants have a successful voyage. - Sly Mercurius can fill all barns and storage houses up to the roof. - Spirit of Mars protects the town from foes brave enough to attack the town. - Venus can brighten up the mood of city folk for a long time. Attitude of the City Folk The attitude of the city folk to you will be very important, if the reputation of the ruler is bad it can start the emigration, then criminal rate increases - riots, fires and many other problems occur. Therefore, it is necessary to take care of the people and analyse current deficiency. Healthcare is provided by hospitals and bath houses. Entertainment is fence play and chariot-riding. Food comes from farms and the sea. Religion and security are at control of the regular army. Military Set-up The city has to be protected from invasions of barbarians, the creation of bastille lies ahead, soldiers and barracks can be situated there as well as recruit depot. However, this is a way to recruit only varmint velites and reckless equites. Roman army is its legionnaires and they are heavily armored with helmets and shields that means a demand for ore and iron which are not so easy to excavate. But even if you have 2 cohorts of legionnaires nobody is free of fear therefore there is a need in a military academy where soldiers can have additional training in survival and ethics. Specific Features: + Upload of the map from the original Caesar III game; + Construction\demolition of buildings and edifices; + Migration of population; + Farming and product distribution; + Entertainment, healthcare, religion, education; + Empire trade network with computer towns; + Extraction of raw materials and manufacturing; + Prefects, engineers, apprentices, soldiers, etc.; + Advisers; + Dynamic town modeling; + Changing the level of the houses according to the environment; + Healthcare and water facilities; + Military buildings. Future Plans - Real-life financial system (salary, goods purchase, hiring); - Specialization of city folk, setting up personal relations and families; - Class system in the town (slaves, plebs, clients and patricians); - Various climate conditions; - Map editor; - Computer towns and empires modeling; - Network play.
