ShipLord as an indie space shoot-em-up survival game developed by Just1337 Studio. There is not much plot present in the game, apart from several dialogue lines on several levels, that are not connected with each other. ###Gameplay ShipLord resembles a typical bullet hell shoot-em-up game. The players fly on their ship on the screen from left to right, avoiding fire from the enemy vessels that go in similar patterns, and firing back as much as they can. ShipLord tries to expand upon this concept, as there is a bit of player customization present in the game. The players have access to several space vessels and over 100 upgrades for them, such as decreased shield cooldown, increased shield duration, force field improvements, reduced energy collection time. The players can use three special abilities to get them out of trouble: a shield that lasts a little while and saves you from the enemy fire; an energy tractor, that drains energy from the opposing force ships; a force field that merely destroys enemy ships and deflects any projectiles fired at you. To unlock a boss level, the players have to complete four asteroid levels. Such levels differ in their environment, enemy types, and difficulty. There are fifteen levels total in the game. The game also tracks the player's performance with its built-in medal system. The better you play - the more you get.

Labyronia RPG is a role-playing game developed using RPG Maker software. ###Setting The game takes place in fantasy land. 50 years before the events of the game, the land was plagued by war. Four wizards created a magic device to prevent armies from fighting. The device is known as Pedant of Labyronia — it reshaped large parts of the world into mazes. However, this had awful consequences thus its spawned hordes of monster that invaded the world for long years. ###Plot and gameplay The game follows young wizard Arres. As a player, you have to a player you have to guide him through for temples of elements which would give you the power to vanquish the monsters. The gameplay shares many similarities with other RPGs made with RPG Maker. According to developers, Labyronia’s visual style, story and battle system are heavily inspired by classic RPGs of the 16-bit era such as Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger and Dragon Quest series. The player can for a party of several characters. The battles are turn-based and require strategical usage of attacks, items, abilities as well as knowledge of enemies’ weaknesses. There are several towns and settlements in the game in which you can interact with various NPC, buy items and gear.
Magicka: Wizard Wars was a MOBA game set in the world of the Magicka franchise. While its core gameplay was 4v4 battles, the game had a heavy focus on the sandbox aspect. The game had no single campaign and was free-to-play. Servers were shut down in 2016 due to the lack of audience. During arena battles, players controlled wizards who used elements to create spells. There were eight elements tied to keyboard buttons; every combination of three elements gave a certain effect on the wizard himself, his teammates or enemies. As the amount of combination was huge, their usage was limited only by players’ imagination. This mechanics was, in fact, a slightly reduced version from Magicka. As every element has an opposite one that counterattacks the spell, battles were based on the reaction rate of players. There were three modes: a classic three-lane map with mobs and bases, a team deathmatch, and a 1v1 duel.

Accidents can be more or less severe and can also include trucks. The fully equipped patrol car houses all material needed to secure and inspect the accident site. Emergency vehicles, fire trucks and rescue services complete the scene at the accident. Another option available to the player is to use the “Bitte folgen” (Follow Me) sign of the patrol car to flag down suspicious cars. Drivers trying to escape have to be chased down and stopped. In the course of an inspection, the driver has to be examined for alcohol abuse, possession of drugs and for the roadworthiness of his car. The simulation covers a total Autobahn stretch of 40 kilometres (approx. 25 miles). Some sections have a speed limit where the player can perform speed checks out of an unmarked police car. Realistic radio communications create a real life and exciting atmosphere, further enhanced by the day and night mode with its emergency light operations. The game offers a view from within the car as well as from an exterior camera view with a free movement. Usually, there are four of them: destroying 70% of the enemies, 100% of the enemies, saving all the people present on the level, completing the level without getting any damage. Sakura Clicker is a free-to-play incremental game, a spin-off of the visual novels series Sakura developed by Winged Cloud. ###Gameplay Unlike previous games in the Sakura series, Sakura Clicker does not have any storyline or premise. Its connection to the rest of the franchise comes down to the similar anime art-style and some characters and highly sexualized character design. Your goal is to defeat a never-ending string of enemies which the game calls the ‘Monsters Girls.’ They appear as explicitly dressed young women with some animal or mystic creatures features such as cat ears, dragon tails or owl wings. You fight Monster Girls primarily by clicking on them with the left mouse button. They do not attack you so you cannot die in the game. Killing enemies gives you gold coins. They are the main currency in the game. You spend gold to level up your character which increases your stats and makes you either deal more damage or hire the allies. The Allies are special characters that help you defeat enemies. Each of them has its scale of progression and comes with several passive abilities. These abelites can increase the amount of gold you get from each, the damage you deal with each click or improve automatic damage the deal themselves. The game is free-to-play and offers some paid DLCs in the form of costumes for your main hero. You can also customize your character’s outfit using gold coins.

Gear Up is an MMO-oriented vehicular combat game. The player creates a battle robot and challenges other players' robots to a fight in an arena. The game features arcade action and simple WASD controls as well as many customization options. ###Modes The game includes three multiplayer modes. The first two offer traditional deathmatches and team deathmatches for teams of up to eight players, typical for most online shooters. There's also a Conquest mode, which is an updated version of Capture the flag. In this mode, the teams compete over control of a radio antenna. There's also a single player mode in which the player can compete against the AI-controlled bots. This mode, however, is only meant as a practice, as the bots are very weak and predictable. ###Customization Customizing your robot is the main focus of Gear Up. Before entering a battle, the player decides what weapons and movement gear the robot will use. The player can equip his or her robot with legs or wheels, melee or ranged weapons, as well as skills like invisibility or wall climbing. The game offers a roster of 116 parts, however, because of the game's free-to-play model, some of them can only be unlocked by purchasing. The improvements are not perfectly balanced, and there are the obviously superior combinations that most players prefer. For example, robots with melee weapons, such as a chainsaw, usually have little chances against their enemies equipped with firearms.

Minecraft: Story Mode is an action-adventure game developed by TellTale. The title revolves around the episodic series-like narrative and puts the importance of the player's choices forward. ###Gameplay The game resembles the genre of the point-and-click adventures. The players can talk with non-mandatory characters and choose the dialogue options out of four or five alternatives. There is a heavy focus on the QTE — the sequences where one must mash buttons in time accordingly with the pictograms depicted on the screen. At the end of each chapter, the player is presented with the choice diagram — his of her picks are compared to those of the other players across the world. It is not to be forgotten — Minecraft: Story Mode is the TellTale adaptation of another video game. Fingerprints of this are clear: the crafting mode essential to the original has been added to the game, and the title has become more friendly all in all. That is the contrast with the previous TellTale installments — they were mainly targeting mature audience. ###Story The Story Mode created the narrative from the start — the original game does not feature it. The story centers around Jesse — the protagonist and the player at the same time — who travel around the in-game world in searches for The Order of the Stone.

Blockstorm is an indie-made multiplayer first-person shooter developed by GhostShark. ###Gameplay Blockstorm's world is fully destructible, as it consists of building blocks. This allows both the players and the developers to create highly interactive maps and even worlds of large scales. At the beginning of the game, the players create their own character out of the same building blocks the whole world consists of. You are free to make whatever you come up with as long as it follows the community guidelines. The players can also edit their weapons the way they see fit. For example, it is possible to edit the basic in-game rifle into an M60 machine gun. The players can also choose a preset character model if they don't feel like creating something new. After that, the players are free to engage in multiplayer battles in one of the five game modes or launch up an in-game editor to create a new map or a so-called battlefield - a giant map, on which a match can be played for several hours. The five game modes mentioned above are: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture The Flag, Assault, Castle Battle, and Hunt. Assault and Castle Battle can only be played on battlefields, as they require a specific map size. In Hunt, the players look for one of the players that have enhanced speed. The players have to find the chosen one in a limited amount of time.
Planetary Annihilation: Titans is a standalone expansion pack to Planetary Annihilation, a real-time strategy game developed by Uber Entertainment. It is possible to either buy Titans included with Planetary Annihilation or purchase the upgrade pack if the players already have the base game. ###Gameplay The players are allowed to play short games on one planet (this results in 12+ hours of gameplay per a match) or engage in a Galactic War with up to 40 players. From time to time, a developer hosted mega-game is held on live multiplayer servers. Although the players can battle on different planets in one galaxy, there is no space combat present in the game. Instead, the game focuses on land and naval combat. It is possible to use the planet's moons as army carriers, and gravity plays an important role in the gameplay as it can be used to damage the enemy army. Players take control of a Commander. Commanders are strong units and essential units in the game. They can only build base buildings without any specialization. If the Commander gets killed, the player loses the match. The faction's Commanders do not differ in their abilities or gameplay, yet they feature a distinct visual style. There is no singleplayer campaign present in the game, yet it is possible to play offline with the help of AI bots.
2064: Read Only Memories is a retro game set in a cyberpunk world. ###Setting The game takes place in the near future of 2046. At this point, the technological advancements allowed people to augment their bodies and enter virtual reality. Most importantly, the robotic assistants called ROMs became increasingly popular and largely replaced the regular phones. The main producer of the robots is a corporation called Parallax, and it plans to create a new kind of fully independent AI. There's a rebel party called Human Revolution that aims to stop the progress of the AI. ###Plot The main engineer of Parallax, Hayden Webber, recently was abducted. The main protagonist is a journalist who researches the Webber's disappearance. He or she is accompanied by Turing, a highly advanced robotic assistant. They go on a search in the fictional city of Neo-San Francisco on the eve of Christmas. ###Gameplay 2064: Read Only Memories works as a point-and-click adventure game with a static first-person view. The environment and characters are presented to the player as slightly animated images. He or she can interact with them by clicking and choosing options, such as to look at, to take, or to speak to. ###Style The game is made in the vein of the 1980s and 1990s graphic adventure games. It uses pixel art visual style with minimal animation and neon-lighted environments, accompanied by a synthwave music score.

###The hacker setting Another puzzle game that uses the corrupted computer from the 1980s as the basis for its gameplay. The game uses the Unity graphics engine and came out on three operating systems: Windows, OS X, and Linux. The game was originally supposed to be dedicated to the programming of nanobots, which are launched into the body of a living person, but the developer opted for a more appealing idea for a setting. ###Key features The plot tells a story about the player finding the faulty TIS-100 computer and the manual to it. TIS (Tessellated Intelligence System) is similar to the first computers from the 80s. Each level looks like a 12 program of nodes, located by a grid of 3 to 4. Each node has a processor register, behind which a certain numerical value is hidden. In order to solve the puzzle, the player needs to reprogram the node so that they perform specific actions using a simplified version of the real assembly language. In the version for Steam Early Access, which was released in 2015, 25 levels were available for the completion. Their number reached 50 at a full release. Only a single story campaign is available in the game. The players noted that the game is an excellent exercise for all programmers who want to compete with each other in optimizing the code in a fictional multithread assembler.
Streamline is an experimental game that combines platforming and survival elements. You run on a platform that falls apart and you need to stay alive as long as you can. The world around consists of cubes; you have a physics-based ability to return them to their place before everything is destroyed. The game is split into two modes. The Survival is classic: stay on the platform using your powers. The Dash mode adds to the concept a necessity to collect orbs on the same collapsing platform. All changes on the levels are random: there are no identical playthroughs. Every time you play Streamline, you face new challenges and ways to reach the goal.
A tower-defense game in a psychedelic setting. The developers insist that their game is designed for joint playthrough and name the genre as a tower-defense coop. Therefore, efforts on a single campaign were apparently less elaborated than on multiplayer, so the singleplayer in the game is secondary. Visually the game is a heap of swirling nebulae, among which there are several strips of a battlefield. Is necessary to arrange the towers at special points along with the battlefield. The towers look like clots of energy, which, as the enemy approaches, begin to attack. During the completion of the game, players have separate resources, and they can build at any point of the map. So there is a little need for cooperation. The appearance of additional players on the map almost does not affect the gameplay in any way. Although the existing arsenal in the game can appear huge, de facto players only have three main types of towers to deploy: ice, poison, and fire. The rest are their upgrades, which must be built separately for some reason.

GET READY TO ENTER A NEW ERA OF PHYSICS PLATFORMING Polyball is a modern take on classic ball rolling games such as Super Monkey Ball, Marble Madness, and Marble Blast - while taking cues from games such as the Sonic series, Trials, and Mario Kart.A BIT ABOUT US...The first full release from digital design practice Studio Monolith, Polyball is an experiment in low-poly visuals and open-ended game design. Our approach with the project was to make the kind of game we used to play, something that had both casual appeal and a limitless competitive ceiling. It was also a genre that we felt hasn't been adequately adapted to the modern world of game design. Our vision was simple: build a game that's easy to pick up, hard to master, and fun both on and off screen....AND A BIT ABOUT POLYBALLThere's a lot to do in Polyball -- Challenge yourself or a friend to one of over 60 levels included in the initial release, with plans for many more levels via free DLC. If you've got some friends over and are looking for something to play, Polyball's splitscreen multiplayer promises a good time. With classic modes like Battle and Circuit Race, as well as a multiplayer version of the single-player experience, Polyball promises to be a must-have party game.CASUAL, COMPETITIVE, OR BOTHWith global leaderboards built right into the level select menu and pregame screen, you can see where you stand among the worlds best and race against their ghosts. If you're more interested in beating your friends, check out the friends-only leaderboards. Collecting shards during your single-player journey will unlock a vast array of customization options, from different ball models to particle effects. This customization carries over into online multiplayer matches as well as your high-score ghost, with local multiplayer having its own version of the customization system designed for split-screen play.FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLEIf you've mastered every challenge we put into the game, take a look at the Steam Workshop content to face a whole new set of challenges. Community made content, from multiplayer battle maps and circuit tracks to customization options and single-player levels, will bridge the gap between developer and player as well as provide a steady stream of new content for you to experience. Steam Workshop gives the players a voice, allowing for the mechanics and level designs of Polyball to stretch far beyond what we had initially put into the game.FEATURES 60+ levels and free DLC Powerful customization system Full controller support Extensive multiplayer support - online/splitscreen Global/Friends Leaderboards Full soundtrack made by independent artists Steam Workshop Tuned mechanics and balanced levels based on community feedback Mac/Windows/Linux support Alternate language localization Ghosts Steam Cloud SavesMULTIPLAYER MODES Trails Battle Circuit Race Tower Climb Split-Screen + Online Story Mode Many more! Dr. Langeskov is a single-player first-person exploration game. It’s a short story, and a linear experience, that attempts to show, what it might be like, to not be a center of a story driven game. Players are led to believe, that they are to embark on a great heist in a mansion with tigers and emeralds involved, but there’s a catch. They WILL play the actual game, but at the moment there’s another player going through the heist, and narrator, voiced by the comedian Simon Amstell, asks the actual player has to wait for their turn. Or help the narrator with some minor tasks, because the entire staff seems to be on strike. Massively story driven, Dr. Langescov allows really minor interactions, but it’s to be expected from the small complimentary game by the designer of Stanley Parable. Players will be shown the backstage and preparations, that are made in order for people to experience the heist and all inner workings of seemingly interactive experience.
Magic Duels is a video game based on collectible card game Magic: The Gathering. It follows Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers and its sequels. Unlike the predecessors, Magic Duels has a story mode that focuses on five original Planeswalkers. In general, the game features over 1300 earnable cards. The gameplay repeats the one from the card game but is simplified. You participate in duels either with real players or AI opponents. Each player has a deck of cards consisting of lands and spells. To cast spells you need mana that lands produce. The duel stops when one player’s life is over. In the story mode you need to hold matches against an AI opponent using decks of five Planeswalkers. Besides the story, there are several single-player missions and online duels. For example, you can test your strategy during the Two-headed Giant mode when four players split into teams competing with each other.
King's Quest is the ninth part of the eponymous series of games. King's Quest follows the story of the royal family ruling in the kingdom of Daventry. This story consists of trials and adventures of the members of this family. The story covers three generations, the action takes place not only in Daventry, but also in neighboring lands. The interface of the game combines point-and-click with quick time events. There are also logical puzzles and action sequences. The development of the plot depends on the actions and words of the main character, the same episode can be started and completed in different ways. At the same time, in the end, the choice of the player only affects the actions of the secondary characters - they can either help the protagonist or not.
A surreal game about shooting evil ducks and turtles, created by two developers. The game is available for free to all Steam users, and its source code is publicly available as well. Developers urge users to develop the game with them. In the far side of the Galaxy, Duke Ducan, the head of the Ducans, pursued the Asteroid Dungeon Nemesis in search of powerful Relics. The player gains control of Spaceheart and his squad, who lands on an asteroid for the same purpose - to get powerful artifacts. The story missions tell about the team's progress from planet to planet in search of Relics and trying to get rid of Ducans. There are six characters available in the game, and there is also an ability to complete the story campaign in a local cooperative mode. In Adventure Mode there are 12 levels available, as they pass, new characters, weapons, and items will unlock. Endless Mode is also available, with its unique mechanics.
Survarium is a free-to-play MMO shooter with RPG elements, set in a post-apocalyptic future. The most of the Earth’s population was destroyed by ecological catastrophes, and the survivors need to protect themselves from infections and fight mutants to stay alive. It’s an ideological successor of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series and is created by former employees of GSC Game World. You can customize and develop your character by upgrading different skills, such as musketry, physical strength, medical and technical knowledge and so on. The game features several multiplayer modes, in which teams fight over relicts, collect certain items and play team deathmatches. There is also a PvE team mission. It focuses on exploration and confrontation between players and their AI opponents and tells the story of the in-game world. During this mission you need to complete different tasks on a huge map and reach the control point.
Nuclear Throne is a top-down roguelike shooter, set in a post-apocalyptic universe. ###Plot and features The game has a sole objective: to reach the famed Nuclear Throne. The player controls one of the many mutated characters. Each playable character is unlockable through levels, and has unique abilities, allowing for different approaches in every playthrough. Each level follows the same pattern: kill enemies, collect upgrades, kill a boss. However, there are many possibilities for a skilled player, as there are achievements to complete, and daily and weekly missions, which can have different objectives. ###Gameplay Dying resets the game’s progress, while success opens up new mutations, weapons, and enemy types. There are five ammunition types, and many weapons share the ammo, so player often has to choose wisely. Mutations can be achieved through leveling up, with some available only to certain mutants, while others are free to choose from. Said mutations can emphasize on character’s unique skill, his weapon proficiency, or upgrade his stats. ###Graphics and soundtrack The game’s pixel art design is made very distinct and unique, as the setting of a post-nuclear western can lead to great possibilities for artists. Each texture, albeit simple, is recognizable and well-made, and the stylistics further emphasize the work of game’s designers. The soundtrack is a mix-match of 8-bit samples and Wild West themes, resulting in a very immersive and entertaining playthrough.
A game from the creators of Stanley Parable, the Beginner’s Guide is a narrative-driven walking simulator, where players are dropped in the world, narrated by the Davey Wreden, writer, designer and director of the game. Players are taken on a tour through the games, that narrator once found on his friends' computer and now was sharing the findings. While they travel together, the narrator will explain little tricks and exploits he found in the game. Or telling the player, what his friend Coda really meant to do or show. Beginner’s Guide is a linear narrative story, so players won’t have to solve complicated puzzles. There’s no possible or intended way for players to die, and the game is mostly explorative. Unlike Stanley Parable, The Beginner’s Guide is a linear experience, based entirely on the writing and emotional bond player establishes with the narrator over the shared experiences and discoveries. After the chapters of the game are completed, players can return to any of them at any time, turning off the narration, to explore the levels alone.
