Golden Nugget Casino DS is a 2005 video game developed by American studio Skyworks Interactive and released by Majesco Entertainment for the Nintendo DS. The game, named for the Las Vegas casino of the same name, is the first Golden Nugget themed game released for the DS. A prior game was released for the Game Boy Advance in 2004 (this Game Boy Advance game was later released again in 2005 as a 2 Games in 1 pack along with Texas Hold Em Poker), and another prior game was released for the Nintendo 64 (called Golden Nugget 64) back in 1998, preceded by a prior game for the PlayStation back in 1997 and the PC back in 1996. The player begins with $2,000.00. Although the cartridge saves a player's winnings, a player can reset the amount to $2,000.00 at any point.

Darkest Fear is a puzzle exploration game containing switches, boxes, doors and various dynamic light sources (like flashlights and lanterns) that the player uses to solve puzzles. In this game Thomas Warden searches for his lost family members (his wife Susan and his daughter Helen) through fifteen missions in a monster-ridden old hospital. He has to talk to other patients and find ways to travel deeper into the hospital. Thomas' most important enemy is darkness. Venturing in the dark deals damage, so he has to open windows to let the light in, find light switches or carry lanterns and flashlights. He is also able to lit fireplaces, carry mirrors and talk to other characters. There are multiple endings and the plot continues in the sequels Grim Oak and Nightmare.
During the construction of a new highway bypass, workers discover an entrance to an old tunnel. After they enter the tunnel, they find out that it was probably a German tunnel intentionally backfilled at the end of World War II. They contact an employee of the Western Bohemian Museum who then informs the superior body in Prague about their findings. The news about the discovery is published by the regional press the next day and there is tremendous buzz in the archeology community of the new find. Martin Holan, a linguistics and archeology student is contacted by his uncle to examine the mysterious World War II tunnel. A friend of Martin’s uncle is supposed to meet Martin upon his arrival to brief him on the mysterious discovery; however, when he arrives in Prague he discovers that she has been brutally murdered. And the Adventure Begins…
