The Borg are once again invading Federation space. Their target? Sector 001, Earth. You are part of an elite flying team known as Valkyrie squadron, commanded by none other than Lieutenant Commander Worf of Star Trek: The Next Generation fame. You'll fly through different territories and encounter familiar races from the popular television series, including Klingons, Romulans, Borg and a new enemy known as the Kam'Jahtae. There are twists and turns throughout the game as you protect convoys from enemy attacks, engage galaxy class starships, and go on solo retrieve and rescue missions. The storyline is accented by the voices of actors Patrick Stewart (Captain Jean-Luc Picard) and Michael Dorn (Lieutenant Worf). Your ship is outfitted with phaser cannons and photon torpedoes, both of which you will have to master in order to succeed in your battles with enemy crafts. Users can play from a view behind their ship or from a first-person view inside the cockpit. The game supports analog control as well as force feedback, and uses up one block of memory on the standard PlayStation Memory Card to save progress.
In 1980, Nichibutsu released Crazy Climber, in which players control a man attempting to scale a series of buildings using only his hands and feet, while avoiding a series of falling objects, mostly thrown by the building's tenants. Crazy Climber 2000 takes the game play of the original and gives it a sweeping graphical makeover. The object is again to scale buildings while avoiding the falling objects thrown at you by its tenants, as well as windows that close on your fingers. The buildings themselves are laid out differently In the first stages, for example, the buildings start out as square skyscrapers. Later levels, however, require you to scale round ones. As well as this, new threats are introduced, such as: - Circling vultures that throw eggs at you. - Gorillas reaching out to grab you on both sides of the building. - Window cleaners that go from left to right, making you fall if you get in their way - Boulders thrown from elevators CC2000 also allows you to move from one face of the building to another. Also included is the original game, in all its early 80s glory.

Lightslayer is an action role-playing game played in first person perspective. As a dark elven sorceress, you travel through a vast world, fighting monsters and completing quests in the search for your missing mentor. Lightslayer was my first commercial game, originally released in the year 2000, almost 20 years ago. This is version 3, which I have upgraded for newer computers. Changes include: OpenGL-accelerated rendering. Run at the native full screen resolution, or in a resizeable window. Full mouse support, in the menus and the actual game. A few minor user interface and game balance improvements. The original Wrath of Darkness game included as a bonus. However, the actual content of the game is untouched, in all of its primitive programmer-art glory. Overall, I think this game has held up incredibly well to the test of time, which is another way of saying that the ugly and clunky aspects of the game were already ugly and clunky when the game was first released.
Chris Kamara's Street Soccer is a video game released for the PlayStation in 2000. It was developed by Italian company Pixel Storm and published by Midas Interactive Entertainment. The game is named after former footballer, manager and current pundit Chris Kamara, who appears on the game's cover. Players choose from 25 teams to compete in five-a-side street soccer. 20 are available from the start and 5 can be unlocked. The teams are cities from different countries, such as London, England and Paris, France. The game incorrectly lists Prague as from Norway rather than Czech Republic. Some of the teams consist of female players. The game can be played in either Exhibition, Arcade, Time Attack, League, Cup and Penalty Shootout mode. The game allows up to 8 players to play via multi-tap.
