R?MJ is an interactive horror game with full voice-acting and movement like Kenji Eno's D, where a video plays to show the player's selected movement. The events of R?MJ take place in the summer of 1999. Hajime and Tomowo rush to the S.T.G. Hospital after hearing their friend Ryo was in a suspicious motorcycle accident, but they're trapped in the hospital after an explosion seals their exit. Together with Aya, a nurse who looks after Ryo, Hajime and friends much find a way out while a deadly virus threatens to end their search for freedom. There's something else amiss about this hospital, however. Strange paintings depicting an ancient civilization decorate the hospital walls. Just what is the Asmos Legend? In addition to looking around for items and solving puzzles, the player must utilize the "5 senses button," which acts as an additional way to investigate. Other characters will prompt you for these moments, such as "what's that smell?" The Playstation version spans 2 discs, whereas the Saturn version fits all the videos on one.

The Irritating Maze quite literally lives up to its name. It's a maze, of sorts, and it's one hell of an irritating game. In fact, it is one of the most irritating games that most will ever come across. But it does have its charms, namely its offbeat gameplay. The graphics are bright and colorful, with a lot of eye candy everywhere. Depending on your point of view, this may or may not be a good thing, as all that coloring and eye candy has been designed specifically to distract you from beating the level. All that glitter is isolated to the areas immediately surrounding the track, and if you look off the beaten path you'll notice that the graphics there are quite sparse and simplistic. The sound and music are passable, though not particularly good. The Irritating Maze's songs sound like generic puzzle game music and are generally pretty forgettable, but they do fit the game's mood. You'll hear an announcer's voice at certain points of the game telling you that you've passed a checkpoint or something like that. The announcer sounds reasonably excited, though if you listen you can hear a little bit of electronic fuzz distorting the voice clips. One sound clip stands out above the rest though, and that's the electric zap effect that plays when you lose. When this clip is combined with the associated graphics, the effect is literally shocking. One of the biggest reasons why the game is so irritating is that you have to control your character's conducting rod with a trackball. For most people, the trackball is not an ideal input device for precise control, especially when put under the stress of time limits. A digital joystick or D-pad would actually allow you to have more precise control, but then having to deal with unfamiliar controls is part of the "fun." At first you'll find the innovative gameplay to be a lot of fun, much like Marble Madness. But unlike Marble Madness, The Irritating Maze's gameplay gets old relatively quickly, and you'll find yourself not caring enough to give the level another go. The Irritating Maze is different enough to be entertaining for a couple of minutes but not quite polished enough to be a lot of fun for the long haul. Give it a quarter or two and see how you do.

Playing as either a male or female in singles or doubles matches, your ultimate aim is to win each of the 8 matches, which represent the finals of 8 tournaments The four Grand Slam tournament venues are unlocked when you win tournaments on the other four (in Barcelona, Hong Kong, Frankfurt and Moscow). Single matches or quick multiplayer knockout tournaments can also be played, the latter with up to 8 human players. Lob, slice and drop shots each have their own control buttons, and spin can be comfortably applied. Serving involves stopping a curving arc at the right moment - there are three serve speeds and the arc's motion reflects this, so it is harder to get the faster serves accurate. Ten camera styles are available, encompassing both fixed and moving camera work.

The Last Blade, released in Japan as Bakumatsu Roman: Gekka no Kenshi (幕末浪漫 月華の剣士 Lit. Bakumatsu Romance: Moon Flower Swordsman), is a fighting game developed and released by SNK for the Neo Geo system in 1997. It was also ported to several home systems. A sequel, The Last Blade 2, was released in 1998. The game takes place during the Bakumatsu era in Japan, and incorporates various elements of Japanese mythology (with a heavy emphasis on the symbology of the Four Symbols). As such, the background music generally incorporates synthesized instruments simulating a sound appropriate to the 19th century setting, in a Western classical, pseudo-Romantic style (unusual for a fighting game).

In Pet in TV the player takes control of a virtual pet, which resembles a more complex version of the Tamagotchi. The player can choose from a selection of PiTs and name it. It is then up to the player to nurture their PiT and allow it to explore the 3D world, learning from its encounters with scenery and objects through trial-and-error. Once these behaviours are learn, the PiT will know how to respond to those objects in the future (such as a Flower, or a Spike). Whenever the PiT becomes injured, or tired, returning it to its home will allow Dr. Y to fix it. The objective then becomes for your PiT to solve puzzles on its own - for which it will be rewarded with AI upgrade chips.

The "HBO exclusive" movie, Soldier Boyz, was converted into this interactive, full motion video shooter for the PC which tests your hand-eye coordination, quick reflexes and memory of the events that transpire on-screen. A United Nations airplane flying over the jungles Vietnam is shot down. Vietnamese terrorist, Vinh Moc, kidnaps Gabrielle Prescott, the daughter of an American billionaire, who was aboard that plane. Prescott seeks out and hires Major Howard Toliver, an ex-Marine and highly decorated veteran of Vietnam, to gather a team and rescue his daughter. Toliver, who now works as a counsellor in a Los Angeles prison, recruits six men to form his team - all prison inmates who are serving life sentences. The game begins as the well-armed group lands in Vietnamese territory and makes their way through the jungles to find the captive Gabrielle. The story moves along by way of interactive video cut scenes in which you must decide whether to talk or shoot. The majority of them require a "shoot first and ask questions later" mentality. If you miss your target on the first try, you are able to replay the scene repeatedly until you are successful. If you guess wrong and shoot a "friendly", you are penalized by missing out on important information.
