Return to Europe is a data disk for Kick Off 2 that allows the player to participate in three major European Competitions: the UEFA Cup, the Cup Winners Cup and the European Cup. This was topical in the UK, as English clubs had just been readmitted into Europe, having been banned for several years following the Heysel stadium disaster of 1985. The competitions are at different skill levels. The European Cup is the toughest of the three competitions. Each competition contains 32 teams that can be edited. The player can also load teams from the Giants of Europe data disk as well as from Player Manager. Tactics can be loaded from the Winning Tactics data disk.
Dizzy Down the Rapids is an arcade style action video game that was published in 1991 by Codemasters for the Amstrad CPC, Spectrum, DOS, Atari ST, Commodore 64 and Amiga. The game involves Dizzy riding barrels down a river avoiding obstacles and enemies. This was another game derived from a minigame game found in The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy like Bubble Dizzy. The game was based on the game play from an arcade game titled Toobin'. The C64 version was developed first by Paul Black. The C64 version was originally a clone of Toobin called 'Toobin Turles'. When the game was taken to Codemasters for consideration, it was rebranded to take advantage of the Dizzy character.
The continent of Tyramus has lived in peace for almost a century, thanks to the four elemental crystals of the kingdom of Arliel. However, peace is threatened by the invading armies of the Jyn Empire, led by Emperor Grym, who wants to use the four crystals to rule over Tyramus. Fortunately, Princess Iris can escape with one of the crystals and now the player has to protect her and the crystal and somehow find a way to drive back the hordes of Jyn. Gameplay in Crystal Warriors is quite similar to Shining Force. The player fights in turn-based battles controlling different characters like fighters, healers, rangers and mages, all with different strengths and skills. Whenever two units engage in battle, they enter a duel mode lasting for up to two turns. In this mode the player can choose between four commands: "battle" (attack), "retreat", "spell" and "monster". While the first three commands are quite self-explanatory, the "monster" command is interesting. Whenever a non-human enemy is defeated, it can be tamed and be used in battles. While most monsters do not have many HP they can serve as good attackers for physically weak characters or take some hits in order to protect his master. In-between battles the player can visit towns to rest, buy weapons and spells or recruit new party members.
Alone with your jetpack, you have flown from Finland across the Urals and the entire length of Asia to deliver a package to Genoq Biolabs in Singapore. You land on the building`s 80th floor setback, finding nobody there to greet you. When you enter the building, the main door snaps shut behind you, and you narrowly escape being killed by the building`s security system. You find the receptionist hiding behind her desk. She tells you that Genoq`s head scientist, Derrida, has been demanding the package you`re carrying. His last panicked message came over an hour ago. This package is more important than you could have thought. You realize that there is only one course of action, that you `must` bring the package to Derrida, and, if at all possible, rescue any survivors you find along the way.
By bad luck, you have been locked in the fictional cathedral of St. Peter, an impressive architectural masterpiece that has a disturbing history of inquisition and dark secrets. Even worse, a set of ancient documents tells you that you have but three days to find and disarm 15 devilish mechanisms that the medieval architect Victor Paz has hidden throughout the ancient building. The parchments give one vague clue to each mystery, but many others are concealed within the church. Why does the great organ have one lever more than it has records? Why did Victor Paz have a well drilled in the catacombs? Could the rumor of a hidden spiral staircase in one of the big columns be true? With an eye for details and an alert mind, you will uncover secrets almost everywhere in the awe-inspiring building. Fortunately, you are not alone: the cheerful Dani accompanies you on your quest. As you travel back in time with every step into the cathedrals past, Dani is first replaced by the butler Jasper, then by the medieval monk Daniel. Your companions are vital for your progress; not only do they provide clues and carry surplus equipment, but you may also give them specific orders to help you solve puzzles: on your command, they will go to any location, operate machinery or help you move things that are too heavy for one person alone.
The game is a mix of puzzles and action. The action involves you dodging various enemies, such as dogs, ghosts, bats, etc, and avoiding the many traps in the dungeons of the castle. You only have a limited amount of energy, and if you lose all of it by touching enemies or traps, you lose a life. If you lose all your lives you lose the game. The puzzles, which are mostly fairly simple, involve both the use of objects, such as money to bribe a guard, and switches that perform various functions, such as deactivating traps. Keys are very important, as they are needed to unlock your shipmates' cells. Some cells are protected by guards, who must be tempted away somehow to get to the cells they are guarding.
Blue Almanac is a 1991 RPG for the Sega Mega Drive by HOT-B published by Kodansha Research Institute for some reason. While it was only released in Japan, Kodansha was planning on translating the game as Star Odyssey, but the translation was cancelled for unknown reasons. Two prototypes were independently discovered by drx and by Brandon Cobb, head of Super Fighter Team, who subsequently acquired a license to complete the translation from HOT-B successor company Starfish (who like to revisit old properties), with intentions on releasing it on the twentieth anniversary of the original release. Despite his PR claiming that he received an "unofficial license" from Sega to distribute the game, Sega really asked him to remove their copyrights and trademarks, consequently making the translation fully unlicensed (while Blue Almanac is fully licensed).

Neverwinter Nights is a computer game released in 1991. It was developed by Stormfront Studios and published by Strategic Simulations, Inc. and ran on MS-DOS. It was the first multiplayer online role-playing game to display graphics, and was hosted on AOL. Neverwinter Nights was developed with gameplay similar to other games in the Gold Box series. Players begin by creating a character. After creating the character, gameplay takes place on a screen that displays text interactions, the names and current status of one's party of characters, and a window which displays images of geography marked with various pictures of characters or events. When combat occurs, gameplay switches to full-screen combat mode, in which a player's characters and enemies are represented by icons which move around in the course of battle. Situated in the city of Neverwinter and more than twenty surrounding regions/areas, the game itself was similar to other official AD&D Forgotten Realms games of its time. As it was an online game, it had several additional menus for online purposes, as well as features unknown to standard AD&D games of the time, such as the ability to teleport from one region/area to another.
