"Whether you liked or loathed Defender, you'll love Anarchy. The speed at which the screen scrolls is frightening, the number of aliens, bullets and other miscellaneous objects that are animated simultaneously is absolutely remarkable. Anarchy is the best version of Defender ever." Full screen horizontal, 4 level parallax scrolling. Arcade running speed (50 frames per second) on Amiga and Atari ST. 48 Colors on screen at once. Up to 80 aliens attacking simultaneously. Full screen animation sequences totalling over 450 screens. 4 Channel sampled soundtrack. Saveable top 50, Hi-Score table. Fast, frantic, furious gameplay.
The players must use an 8-way joystick and a single button to control their currently-selected players - and there are over 40 offensive plays and defensive formations to choose from (including "Bombs", "Double Reverses", "Half-Back Options", "Nickel Defense", "Zone Coverage", "Stunts" and "Red-Dog Blitz"), making the game more complex than Midway's Pigskin 621 AD (which was released earlier in 1990 but it only allowed two players to play it simultaneously). The game also features cheerleaders, coaches, commentary by an insane play-by-play announcer called "Manic Max", and a crowd of fans who cheer or jeer at the players, based on their performance (the leader of whom is "Joe Six-Pack").
Inside the human body, a constant war rages between invading virus cells and the body's own defence mechanisms. Most of the time the body easily repels these marauders, but just occasionally a stronger - mutant - strain of virus appears putting the body's own defences under threat of being overwhelmed. When this happens we use artificial mechanisms to protect the body and Vaxine puts you in control of the newest devices. The invading cells appear and gradually bond together until they are strong enough to attack certain key body cells. If the invaders are not eliminated before they latch onto these calls, they will not only destroy them but also use the constituent parts to make more of them-selves. If all of these key body cells were to be destroyed, life could no longer be supported, and - inevitably - the game would be over.

This multiplayer-only Bomberman release is exceedingly rare and seems to have been produced for demo kiosks, tournaments, or both. Users Battle is a Bomberman game for the PC Engine, released only in Japan. It bears a 1990 copyright, just like the original release of Bomberman for the platform. Additionally, it plays the same title screen music upon boot, but it has a different title screen, only allowing for multiplayer play for two to five players. It lacks the skull mode option of the full Bomberman release, but otherwise shows similar menus and styles to Bomberman's multiplayer mode. It is believed that Users Battle was created in extremely limited quantities for use at tournaments, demo kiosks, or both. Some online sources estimate the number of cards produced at around 1,000.
