Ve filmu Úžasňákovi 2 se vrací oblíbená rodina superhrdinů. Avšak tentokrát je hlavní hvězdou Helen, zatímco Bob zůstal v domácnosti a pomáhá Violet a Dashovi zvládat každodenní nástrahy „normálního“ života. Pro všechny je to těžká změna, a těžší je o to víc, že si nikdo z rodiny neuvědomuje superschopnosti malého Jack-Jacka. Když se objeví nový padouch, který se chystá uskutečnit ďábelsky geniální plán, tak rodina a Mražoun musí najít způsob, jak se dát zase dohromady a spojit síly – což se lehko řekne a těžko udělá, i když jsou všichni doslova úžasní.
