Scarlett Ingrid Johansson, narozená 22. listopadu 1984 v New Yorku, je americká herečka a zpěvačka, která se stala jednou z nejlépe placených a nejuznávanějších hereček své generace. Její herecký talent se projevil již v raném věku, když začínala účinkovat v divadelních a filmových rolích. Svůj filmový debut si odbyla v devíti letech ve filmu Všude dobře, doma nejlíp (1994). Kritické uznání získala již v dospívání za role ve filmech jako Zaříkávač koní (The Horse Whisperer, 1998) a především za melancholickou postavu Charlotte ve filmu Ztraceno v překladu (Lost in Translation, 2003) režisérky Sofie Coppoly. Za tento výkon, který byl jejím mezinárodním průlomem, získala cenu BAFTA a první nominaci na Zlatý glóbus. Ve své kariéře se úspěšně pohybuje mezi nezávislými uměleckými snímky a velkými hollywoodskými trháky.
