Městečko South Park je netradiční animovaný seriál o čtyřech klucích z malého coloradského městečka, kteří vidí "dospělácký" svět ze své (dalo by se říct přimočaré až naivní) perspektivy. Už první díly si získaly pozornost diváků, protože byly na svou dobu netradičně vulgární a politicky nekorektní. Autoři poukazují na společenské problémy, na absurditu současného světa, reagují na aktuální události a často si utahují z celebrit. Téměř žádné téma pro tvůrce South Parku není tabu, občas si dělají legraci i sami ze sebe.
