A typical melodrama with a rich young man, Petros, who, as usual, falls in love with a poor girl, Vana, and naturally thinks of marrying her despite the objections of his family, who, as always, are opposed to such a possibility. However, as usual, our two young lovers draw courage from their love and faith in life, and overcome all obstacles. The ending is happy and joyful, like a promising new year...
