V tomto filmu sledujeme rozpadající se tříčlennou rodinku. Tony (T.C. Stallings) je úspěšným dealerem léčiv, který už přemýšlí o jiné ženě, a Elizabeth (Priscilla C. Shirer) je úspěšnou realitní makléřkou. V osobním životě se ale jen hádají a dcerce Daniele (Alena Pitts) nevěnují moc pozornosti. V jednom z domů, které jsou nabídnuté k prodeji, se během rozhovoru o domu začne jeho majitelka, starší paní Clara (Karen Abercrombie), vyptávat Elizabeth na její osobní život. Elizabeth se moc nebrání. A tak během dalších pracovních návštěv vznikne mezi ženami jakýsi bližší vztah. Clara nabídne Elizabeth, že ji naučí válečnou strategii, díky níž dá do pořádku život svůj i celé rodinky. Elizabeth svolí a začne bojovat. A v rodině se začnou dít zajímavé věci.
