Vijaya’s journey through life has been marked by challenges. Enduring multiple instances of attempting suicide and grappling with profound phase of questioning, Vijaya became the first transwoman from the hilly and tribal district of Nandurbar in Maharashtra. Having successfully completed her transition, she has embarked on a new journey in her life and provides succor to many others like her.
