Don Simpson lives a routine existence in a dying town, hanging out and drinking with his best friends Mickey and Tim. But when the girl who got away returns home from traveling abroad, old regrets and painful secrets are brought to light. Now, Don's inability to express his feelings for her leads to a deep-seated anxiety. Mickey's gambling addictions attract the attention of an old mobster just as his estranged father tries to patch things up.
