Když Shrek potkal Wallace s Gromitem, respektive když spojila své síly slavná animační studia DreamWorks a Aardman, vznikla svěží animovaná komedie Spláchnutej, stojící na precizní americké počítačové animaci a okouzlujícím britském humoru, který je opravdu pro každého. Příběh Spláchnutýho se odehrává v ulicích britské metropole a překvapivě také pod nimi. Jeho hrdinou je rozmazlený myšák z lepší společnosti Roddy St. James, který si užívá status domácího mazlíčka. Když se v luxusní rezidenci jeho páníčků objeví kanálová krysa jménem Sid a dostane chuť na jeho místo, připraví Roddy ďábelský plán na vetřelcovo vyhoštění, jehož hlavní částí je spláchnutí Sida záchodovou mísou zpátky do kanálu. Jenže kdo jinému jámu kopá. V podzemí Roddy ke svému překvapení objeví obrovské město, v němž se seznámí s Ritou, mimořádně chytrou myší, která se vyzná ve zdejší tlačenici.
