sich langsam nähern - Begleitetes Lebensende in sieben Kapiteln
- Originální název: sich langsam nähern - Begleitetes Lebensende in sieben Kapiteln
- Žánr: Dokumentární
- Režie: Maria Arlamovsky
In seven astute chapters, this film documents the work of doctors and nurses in the palliative care unit at Vienna General Hospital or outpatient hospice care, accompanying patients on their final journey. Although we see family members and impending goodbyes in the dialogues, the film gradually delves deeper into the relationship between the dying and their healthcare professionals: repeatedly, the tension between professional care and emotional closeness is palpable.
