To fight Ali, Stevenson would have needed to leave Cuba, but Stevenson refused the offer, asking: "What is one million dollars compared to the love of eight million Cubans?" Many boxing fans call the Ali-Stevenson fight the 'greatest fight that never was.' This is the story of how Teofilo Stevenson's life and the life of his Cuban people were dramatically altered by the embargo.
