On January 13, 2024, heavy rain fell on the state of Rio de Janeiro, flooding streets and devastating entire neighborhoods. Belford Roxo was one of the hardest-hit cities. The documentary portrays the mobilization and struggle of the “Mais Por Nós” project and the Coletivo Cria to help those most affected, who, as a result of environmental racism and the effects of the climate crisis, were left without access to basic services, such as electricity, water, food and personal hygiene items.
