Years of degradation by YouTube algorithms have only added to the aesthetic of these computer poems. Film is Prophecy and Mykki predicts bullshit unseen. Mykki pioneered the to-camera monologue about whatever, and Heart of Obsidian houses home-truths like ‘buffalo don’t hang with the birds for too long’ and ‘obsidian will protect the gentle hearted from abuse.’
