Na konci prvního dílu filmu Dave alias Kick-Ass a Mindy alias Hit-Girl pověsili svou superhrdinskou identitu na hřebík a snaží se žít normální životy jako typičtí teenageři. Dave ovšem nepočítal s tím, že svým bizarním nápadem inspiroval další řadu lidí, kteří na sebe rovněž navlékli superhrdinský ohoz a vydali se do ulic prosazovat dobro. Proti boji s nespravedlností a zlem založí plukovník Stars and Stripes amatérský tým hrdinů Justice Forever, do něhož bude Kick-Ass později okolnostmi přinucen také vstoupit. Na druhé straně barikády stojí Red Mist - The Mother Fucker a skupinka jeho poskoků. Ten se touží pomstít Kick-Assovi za smrt svého otce, a v městských ulicích tak započne opravdový zmatek. Jeho plán má však jeden háček. Pokud si někdo začne s jedním z členů Justice Forever, začne si automaticky i se všemi ostatními.
