Dokazuje v ní, že moderní žena má stejná práva a možnosti jako muži. Chce skvělou kariéru a nezávazný sex, u něhož nemusí zrovna umírat láskou. Tento ryze mužský náhled ale inspiruje casanovu a brilantního novináře „Catche“, aby Barbaru sbalil a předvedl jí, co vlastně muži chtějí. Samozřejmě, že se oba mýlí.
