A poor girl marries a rich young man, despite the opposition of her father-in-law, and lives a happy life with her husband until she falls into the clutches of a fraudulent young man, who tries to tell her that her husband has been in an accident. When she goes to him, she learns the truth about him. The fraudster tries to pressure the wife through what he has caught on her.
