Aerial shots from a helicopter follow the traces of the Hanseatic League: from Lübeck to Boltenhagen, Heiligendamm and Rostock. A view of the seemingly familiar, which even for the mayors of three coastal communities makes their homeland seem strange in an intoxicating way. Followed by a journey beginning on the Darß and ending after stops on Vilm and the Greifswalder Bodden on the island of Usedom. Above all, however, the work has become an exclamation mark: a cinematic celebration of the beauties close to home.
