Je konec tisíciletí a malá skupina exorcistů v New Yorku očekává další pokus Satana zmocnit se vlády nad světem. Ani Petr, Ani mladá učitelka Maya v existenci Pána Zla nechtějí věřit. Jenomže podivná znamení přibývají a nikdo si nemůže být jist, jakou tvář na sebe Ďábel tentokrát vezme.
