On day five of his coma, the doctors delivered a hopeless message: "He probably won't survive." After nine days in the coma, nothing seemed the same. In a family where emotions were rarely expressed, the old filter suddenly fell away. For the first time in years, Bo Gyi told his parents he loved them. Bo Gyi demonstrated that vulnerability and seeking connection, especially among men, are not weaknesses but strengths.
