Hua Fusheng is a young man who's innocent and obsessed with medicine. He uses unconventional methods that both endear and frighten the townspeople. He is wrongly accused of murder after the death of Bai Yi. Clues left behind by his mentor seem to point to a mysterious "Sacred Book."
