Po šokujícím odhalení, že Zoom je Jay Garrick, je Barry ještě více odhodlaný se vrátit na Zemi 2, kde chce Zooma nadobro zastavit. Barry se zoufale snaží zvýšit svou rychlost, proto se vydá zpátky v čase, kde se přestrojí za své mladší já, aby se dostal ke svému nepříteli Eobardu Thawnemu v těle Harrisona Wellse. Po něm chce, aby ho naučil běhat rychleji. Věci však nejdou podle plánu a Barry musí stát tváří v tvář svému známému nepříteli, Hartleymu Rathawayovi, a svému starému příteli, Eddiemu Thawneovi. Iris udělá za svou minulostí tlustou čáru a přijme svou budoucnost.
