The series revolves around the everyday lives, joys, struggles, and emotional ups and downs of a typical urban middle-class Bangladeshi family. Centered primarily on the household of Shafique, Nilu, and their children, the narrative beautifully captures the intricate relationships, financial constraints, sibling bonds, and neighborhood dynamics. While the tone is often lighthearted, nostalgic, and filled with relatable domestic humor, it gradually transitions into profound emotional territory, highlighting the unpredictability of life and the deep grief of loss—most notably symbolized by the tragic fate of the beloved young character, Tuni.
