When I was a child, my mother, faced with my melancholy and angry attitude (...), registered me at the Decroly center in Lille to consult a psychologist... From the first session, I was treated to a parade of Rorscharch tests... Nearly 45 years later and having seen the painted films of Stan Brakhage ("Persian Series"... among others), I undertook research on this theme and after having produced some drawings folded in 2,4,6,8 ... I rotated stencils inked on watercolor paper. Then I took one of my hand-painted 16mm films ("Encres" 2003-2010) then once printed in silver color positives and after a telecine of the film I separated the film into 4 files: A,B, CD. A=original film, B=original film with flipped effect, C=film rotated from bottom to top, B=original film with flipped effect and rotated from top to bottom... Finally, I made the following combinations in overprints A+B, C+D, A+B+C+D.
