SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom is a platform video game based on the Nickelodeon animated series SpongeBob SquarePants, developed by Heavy Iron Studios, AWE Games, and Vicarious Visions, and published by THQ. The game was released for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube consoles as well as separate versions for Microsoft Windows and Game Boy Advance. While the versions released for consoles were a 3D platformer, the Microsoft Windows version of the game is a mini-game compilation, and the Game Boy Advance received a 2D platformer version. All versions of the game feature an original storyline, in which the player attempts to defend Bikini Bottom from an invasion of robots created by Plankton with a machine called the Duplicatotron 3000, playing as SpongeBob in all versions, as well as Patrick and Sandy in the console versions. The series' voice actors reprise their roles, with the exceptions of Clancy Brown as Mr. Krabs and Ernest Borgnine as Mermaid Man, with both roles instead being voiced by Joe Whyte. The game was released on October 31, 2003, in North America and in Europe on November 28, 2003. Battle for Bikini Bottom received mixed or average reviews according to Metacritic. Edge included the Game Boy Advance version on its list for top handheld video games of the 21st century. It was a commercial success. Legacy of Kain: Defiance

Legacy of Kain: Defiance is an action-adventure with a focus on the puzzles and the battles developed by Eidos. The game is the fifth and the last installment in the LoK series. ###Gameplay The series share a common mechanics — the third-person view, and the abilities mechanics — the protagonist can shapeshift and use various spells. However, Defiance brought new elements into the franchise as it implements the exp system meaning that skills and upgrades for powers can be bought for the points you gain through the progression further. Defiance is also strictly linear — there is no actual open-world and player is forced to complete the stages and chapters one by one in the given order. Another difference is playable characters — this is the part in which player can gain control of Kain and Raziel. The last difference is the weaponry: both Kain and Raziel possess only Soul Reaver in its different iterations — the previous games featured a more extensive variety. ###Plot The title is the direct successor of Soul Reaver 2. The story centers around Kain saving Raziel and encountering Moebius the Time Streamer for the explanation of what is happening after the time paradox in the world of Nosgoth's. The characters are out for a quest of sticking Nosgoth out of the troubles they inflicted on it.

Crimsonland

Crimsonland is a 2014 re-release of the 2003 dual-stick top-down shoot 'em up with the RPG elements. That is the only game within the IP. ###Gameplay The game consists of the player and infinite waves of the enemies divided into the levels. The walkthrough may be eased by inviting up to three other players into the game. There are seven game mods: "Quest", featuring 60 levels on different areas, each with the individual set of goal thus the name; "Survival" in which there are infinite waves of enemies and player is challenged to hold out as long as possible; "Rush" gives the protagonist only AK-47 and asks him to react quickly to the enemies; "Nukefism" does not allow the player to wield any weapon, but the collection of bonuses allows him to crash the foes; "Weapon Picker" speaks for itself — there is no ability reload, so the player is forced to change the firearm every time they run out of ammo. "Blitz" is just upgraded "Survival" and finally the "Gembine" which is just 2048 tiles game in the Crimsonland setting. The "Typ'o'Shooter" mode was removed — players had to type the words appearing on the screen to kill the enemies in it. ###Story The title features no storyline whatsoever. The only sign of a story is the quest system. Completing the quest allows the player to unlock more weapons and perks.

Journey to the Center of the Earth

Journey to the Center of the Earth is an adventure 2D platformer game which is based on a Jules Verne novel. ###Plot The player can perform for three characters, separately or grouped. They are Otto, Axel, and Hans, who have decided to go on a journey to the center of the Earth. The main problem is that if the player chooses to move forward individually, the others can't go any further. So the three characters need to work together to avoid the vicious spike traps reminiscent of the old Prince of Persia, solve puzzles and survive through dangers. ###Gameplay The gameplay is classic: there are no battles and no enemies, the player should make his way through 18 levels. It requires solving puzzles through the use of buttons and ladders, avoiding traps, getting past every level's obstacles, and escaping various traps along the way. Every character has a unique skill: Otto can use a pickaxe to destroy stones, Axel can jump higher, and Hans can hold water in his flask - this is quite an important skill as the characters can die of thirst. It offers difficult puzzle challenges which get harder over time and ordinary gameplay length. The game has special sounds and music which repeat throughout the gameplay.

Enter the Matrix

In the war to save Zion, what part will you play? Enter The Matrix casts the player as Niobe or Ghost, captain and first mate of the rebel ship Logos, respectively. Niobe is a master combatant, capable of beating up everyone in her way. She is an excellent pilot, both in the real world and in the Matrix. Ghost is very adept at firearms, and his marksmanship is a mastery. Both characters are very athletic, and throughout the game the player will have to walk, run, jump, strafe, peek, run on walls, climb ladders and pipes, and fight various enemies. Available weapons include a security pistol, an automatic pistol, a submachine gun, a machine gun, a shotgun, and grenades. Besides weapons, a variety of hand-to-hand moves are available, from punches, throws, and grabs to kicks and chokes. Throughout the game, the player will be called upon to utilize Focus moves, which is basically bullet time from the films. When Focused, time slows to a crawl, allowing the player to zoom around enemies, dodge bullets, and jump to avoid oncoming obstacles. The game was written and directed by the Wachowski brothers, and its plot is intertwined with that of the second movie, The Matrix Reloaded.

POSTAL 2

Like original Postal, its sequel was specifically intended to spark controversy. The game is full of gross violence, black humor, obscenities, and biting satire of American life. The plot follows Postal Dude, a typical "white trash" and a small town trailer-park dweller, as he is given menial daily tasks, such as buying milk. The way he completes them, however, is what makes Postal 2 one of the most censored and offensive games ever. At the various points of the game, the player may piss over his opponents, use cats as gun silencers (by literally showing your gun up the cat's anus), burn dogs alive, blow up cars (but not drive them, in Postal 2 cars are simply four-wheeled explosives), shoot people and flip them a bird. The game, however, is just as violent as the player wants it to be. Most missions can be accomplished without killing, though it would have spoiled all the fun. The gameplay has changed since the previous part. Isometric view from the original was replaced with the first-person view. The world around Postal Dude is living by itself, regardless of the player’s presence, much like in Grand Theft Auto series. All the town inhabitants are programmed to walk, chat and even fight each other as if they were real people.
