V tomto akcí nabitém, výpravném vesmírném dobrodružství se odvážný dobrodruh Peter Quill stává středem zájmu nájemných zabijáků poté, co Ronanovi, mocnému padouchovi s plány ohrožující celý vesmír, ukradne tajemnou kouli.
